סוף סוף אנחנו ממש בפתח העונה החמה של אירועי תעשיית המשחקים… על הפרק כמה וכמה אירועים חשובים!
- ביום ד’ השבוע, 3.10.12 בסינמטק ת”א החדש (רחוב הארבעה, בצמוד לסינמטק שאתם מכירים), יערך במסגרת פסטיבל אייקון מושב בשם “סרטים ומשחקים – Will It Blend?”.
המושב משלב שתי הרצאות על משחקים וסרטים, מפי גיא אולמר וחגי אלקיים, וביניהן יוקרנו סרטונים ישראלים חדשים בנושא משחקים. לקינוח יוקרן “הגיימרים“, סרטה הדוקומנטרי של הבמאית גל פרידמן.
הנחה במחיר הכרטיס (במעמד רכישת הכרטיס בקופה עם הצגת הקוד #64) תקפה לכל חברי הקהילה, ולכלל אירועי Icon TLV . אנא הקדימו, אנחנו מתחילים בול ב-10:20!

- ב- 23-24.10.12, יתקיים בנמל יפו הכנס DLD Tel-Aviv, במסגרתו נערוך מושב של GameIS עם מספר אורחים יוצאי דופן מחברות משחקים מובילות בעולם.
- עד לסוף השנה האזרחית אמורים לנחות בארץ מספר שמות גדולים מהתעשייה העולמית (כלומר, כאלה ששמעתם עליהם). נציגי העמותה נמצאים היום בתהליך מאומץ ליצירת מפגשים ואירועים מסביב לביקורים אלה.
- ב- 23.11.12 יתקיים אי-כנס בנושא משחקים מיסודו של יוסי ורדי, שייערך גם השנה במרכז ההדרכה של בנק הפועלים בקיבוץ שפיים.
- הכנס השנתי של התעשייה הישראלית, הכולל יום הרצאות ואת טקס פרסי המשחקים, יתקיים בדצמבר.
אתם יכולים להתחיל לשלוח משחקים שיתמודדו בתחרות מכל ז’אנר שהוא, בלבד שפותחו השנה. נא לשלוח את שם המשחק, שם המפתח/חברה, לינק ופרטי התקשרות, למייל GameISAwards@gmail.com.
- סיכומים בכתב של האירועים האחרונים שערכה העמותה, כמו גם סיכומי פגישות וועד העמותה, מתפרסמים באתר GameIS.org.il. מאוד נשמח לקבל הערות והצעות לשיפור… אנחנו שומעים בצורה עקיפה שיש לכם ביקורת ו/או תשבחות שונות, ואנחנו רוצים ללמוד מהם – אז אל תתביישו.
- ומספר הודעות:
- לקראת השנה השנייה של פעילותה, מחיר החברות בעמותה יישאר 50 ₪ בלבד. היום יותר מתמיד, ניתן וכדאי להירשם לעמותה או לחדש חברות במחיר סמלי זה.
- זה הזמן להזכיר שכל פעילות העמותה עד כה נערכה בהתנדבות, ולכן כל מתנדב שירצה לקחת חלק או אפילו להפיק אירוע בתחום (מאירוע בירה ספונטני ועד ערב הרצאות שלם), יקבל מהעמותה סיוע ככל הניתן לקידומו.
- לנוחותכם, בלינק זה תוכלו למצוא לוח שנה המתעדכן בכל האירועים הקרובים, ואפילו לייבא אותו ל-Google Calendar שלכם ללא מכס.

We are finally at the opening of the game industry’s incredible events season! There are several important events coming up…
- Wednesday this week, 3.10.12 in the new Tel-Aviv Cinematheque (HaArba’aa street, right next to the cinematheque you already know), we will be having an event called “Games and Movies – Will It Blend?“, as part of the Icon Festival.
The event combines two lectures about games and movies, by Guy Ulmer and Hagai Elkayam. New Israeli clips about games will be shown between the lectures. Finally, the documentary “The Gamers“, directed by Gal Friedman, will be screened.
Discount tickets for all community members are available (upon purchase of the ticket in the box office, with the code #64). Discounts are effective for all other events of Icon TLV. Please come early, we start at 10:20 sharp!

- Save the Dates:
- 23-24.10.12, the DLD Tel-Aviv conference is being held in Yaffo Harbor. We’ll be having a GameIS event there, with a number of exceptional guests from the top game companies around the world.
- By the end of the year, a number of big names from the world industry (meaning – ones you’ve heard about) are expected to visit here. GameIS representatives are hard at work to create meetings and events around these visits.
- 23.11.12, the Games Un-Conference, founded by Yossi Vardi, will be held once again in Bank HaPoalim’s Instruction Center in Kibbutz Shfayim.
- The annual conference of the Israeli gaming industry, which includes a day of lectures and the GameIS Awards ceremony, will be held in December.
You are welcome to start sending your games to take part in the competition. They can be of any genre, as long as they have been developed this year.

- Written reports of the recent GameIS events, as well as GameIS management committee meetings, are published in the association’s website GameIS.org.il. We would be very happy to receive comments and feedback… We hear indirect criticism and/or praise, and would like to learn from them – so don’t be shy.
- And a number of messages:
- The second year of the GameIS Amuta is coming up, and the price of membership will remain 50NIS. Today more than ever, it is possible and recommended to sign up to the association or renew your membership at this token price.
- This is the time to remind you the all association activities so far have been done voluntarily, and so any volunteer that would like to take part or even produce an event (from a spontaneous beer event to an entire lecture packed evening), will receive as much help from the association as possible.
- For your convenience, in this link you can find a calendar that is updated with all the up-coming events. You can even import it to you Google Calendar without customs.
