יום שלם של הרצאות מקצועיות עם מרצים מהארץ ומהעולם, סקירות של משחקים ישראלים מהשנה החולפת, תצוגות משחקים ומשחקי ראווה, תערוכות ועוד הרבה הפתעות!
האירוע יסתיים בטקס פרסי משחק השנה GameIS Awards, בו יחולקו גביעים ופרסים למשחקים הטובים ביותר שראו אור השנה.

האסיפה השנתית הראשונה של עמותת GameIS תתקיים ב-21.12.12, יום שישי, ב-9:00 במכון הטכנולוגי HIT בחולון. השתתפותכם חשובה מאוד! אנחנו חייבים נוכחות של רבע מחברי העמותה לפחות, למטרות סיכום השנה, הצגת התקציב, בחירת חברי ועדות חדשים ובעיקר כדי להפגין מעורבות.
הגשת המועמדות לתפקידים בוועד המנהל של העמותה וועדת הביקורת נמשכת; אם אתם רוצים להציע את עצמכם, אתם יכולים לעשות זאת בטופס הזה.

GameIS 2012 annual conference is just around the corner and in our hallways are filled with excitement. This newsletter will contain announcements regarding the conference, mostly, so let’s start!
• The annual conference of the IL digital game industry will be held on Wednesday, 19.12.2012 between 10:00 – 21:00 at Holon cinematheque.
It is a full day of professional lectures from local and global industry, reviews of Israeli games developed during the passing year, game shows, exhibitions and open tournaments, and other surprises.
The event will conclude with GameIS Awards 2012 contest, in which we will give trophies and prizes to the best Israeli games released this year.

• For the first time in a long time our convention is produced independently by us, and we are looking forward to the best and biggest convention ever. In the program:

• There have been a lot of questions regarding registration to the GameIS association and the conference. Let’s explain the process again:
You can apply for membership to GameIS association here
Every few days the association board members approve your applications and sends emails back, with membership fee payment requests. Look for that mail!
You will be required to pay the membership fee (50nis ) in PayPal. Once you do that you are official members.
Now you can buy the conference ticket with a discount and a membership card will await you at the registration booth at the entrance to the conference.
The first GameIS association formal gathering will be held on the 21.12.2012, Friday at 9:00am at HIT Holon. Participation of all members of GameIS is extremely important! We must have at least one quarter of members in order to summarize the year, present the budget and vote on new board members and mostly to show involvement.
Applications for board membership and the audit committee continue; if you wish to be a candidate please fill in this form.
A reminder to the mobile Monday event, the Mobile Monetization Summit which focuses on one of the biggest challenges of the app and mobile game industry – How to make money? The event will take place on the 18.12 at Yes Planet. For more details and registration here is the conference site.
